    Inspired by the Holy Spirit in June of 1974, Happy T. (The) Clown was created by Doug Sapp in Pensacola, FL through an effort to boost Vacation Bible School attendance at church. Happy has preformed children's programs and Gospel magic across the southeastern United States. Doug debuted as a professional clown when he began working as a clown character for a nationally known hamburger chain. During his tenure he has performed at stores' grand openings, parades, and made personal appearances. Doug joined the Fellowship of Christian Magicians in 1977 and has recently been awarded the heritage pin for 25 years of service. He also belongs to the World Clown Association. Doing over 200 shows a year, he uses his endearing wit and love of Jesus Christ by presenting balloon art and magical illusions to deliver the non-denominational gospel of Jesus Christ to children of all ages.
